Well only in spirit....or beer or cider or ale...what ever takes your fancy! 16th September Saracens fly off to the USA for the 'away' fixture against Newcastle Falcons. We'd normally love a trip to the Toon for this one, but for those not lucky enough to be heading out to Philly, then why not join a few of the SOT crew at: The Mermaid 98 Hatfield Road St Albans Game kicks off at 9.30pm BST Prior to that, Our inaugural SOT darts tournament will commence prior to the match around 7pm :) And, if that's not enough, the Weeping Chef will be in attendance in case you get peckish! We are good to you

BATH AWAY

Next up...

Bath away!

As mentioned earlier, our West Country friends sadly don't cater for group ticket bookings

To make up for it though, we've been extended the warm rugby hand of friendship from those good people at the Bath Brewhouse

http//www.thebathbrewhouse.com

An area of the bar has been reserved for SOT, and all will be welcome to join us

We've been there before and it's a lovely venue ❤️

It houses it's own microbrewery, has an amazing array of beers on offer, and the food is also excellent (it is renowned for serving Bath's best burger! :) ☺️

Plus, the Brewhouse has a nice outdoor area, and given the game is just the second one of the season, we should hopefully be able to enjoy a cold glass or two alfresco!

By the way, it's around a 10 minute walk from The Rec, and a similar stroll to the nearby Bath Spa train station

We'll be there before the game around 12pm

More importantly...will you? :D

Our merry little band will be steering ourselves towards the Black Bull in Edinburgh on the day of the ECC Final! :D

It's been highly recommended by Sam in the group, who lived in the city for a number of years

A proper rugby pub, which is cavernous inside :)

An area within has been reserved from 11am onwards  - we'd advise on getting there as early as you can though, given every pub in Edinburgh will be busy on the day.

Here's the address, and a link to their website

The Black Bull Bar

For those of you not heading to Dublin or Allianz Park...

We're now looking to firm up numbers for the Munster v Sarries screening at The Mermaid in St.Albans on Saturday

We've reserved an area of the pub from 2pm  - the game kicks off at 3.15pm.

If the weather is good, the match will be shown outside on their big screen in the beer garden

The pub can comfortably accommodate 8⃣0⃣ Sarries fans inside and up to 1⃣0⃣0⃣ outside.

Please can you kindly advise if you will definitely be coming on our FB Group

No need to comment if not, as we're only really interested in who will actually be joining us.

By the way, children are also welcome, and are allowed in the pub up until 8pm

Plus, parking is available

Here's the address

The Mermaid

The annual Wembley visit is upon us this weekend, and for anyone who would like to join us after the game, some of the SOT crew will be heading to The Crock of Gold,  23 Bridge Rd, Wembley HA9 9AB. Near to Wembley Park tube station.

We will try and get there as soon as the hoards let us, as we know exiting the stadium can take a while, so hopefully see you there some point after game. :)

End of Season Bash !

Posted by SarrisOnTour on February 14, 2017 at 6:35 AM Comments comments (0)

Now, an end of season match deserves a proper end of season bash :)

With the Wasps away game being held on the last day of the "regular" campaign - Saturday 6th May - it's only fit and proper to give it a decent send off :D

So, a rather cavernous pub in Coventry - The Establishment - has been selected as the venue of choice

It made it onto the short list of top ten pubs in Coventry, and is held in high regard; by the way, it's not that far from the main train station or The Ricoh Arena :D

An area within the pub has already been reserved for us by our resident Wasps fan in the group, Dominic Young

It's been booked for a substantial number so as to cater for the large party we are trying to draw to this game ☺️

They have a wealth of great beers on offer, plus the food is apparently very good :P

It'd be great if you decide to join us - not only at the pub - but also at the stadium and like the Worcester away game in 2016, together, we all help create a real end of season party atmosphere

PS As regards discounted group tickets for the Wasps match, we'll start to offer these in around 3-4 weeks time ☺️

#SentToCoventry :)

Our Largest Away Day ...So Far!

With 187 tickets now sold for Worcester away, you've got to go for a drink to celebrate, right?!

Our trip to Sixways stadium is just around the corner and with that in mind, we'll be meeting up with a crowd of Worcester fans for drinks at the Swan With Two Nicks before the game

We've been there before and it has a very unique charm. Packed full of character and steeped in history

It's a big pub in the city centre and can accommodate a large number of fans

Well, it'll need to be able to!

We should be there around midday - the game kicks off at 3pm by the way - and all are welcome to join us

After the game has finished, those good people at Worcester are kindly laying on a screening of the Wales v England 6 Nations match upstairs in the hospitality area of the East stand,(ie the section of the stadium our party (quite literally ;) will be based in).

FYI, it kicks off at 4.50pm.

You don't need a ticket to get in, so again, if any of you would like to carry on your day, please feel free to join us and help roar England on to victory*

*Apologies to any Welsh fans we have in SOT!

Lastly, a big thank you once again from All of us for embracing this venture!

:D:D
